Conquering medieval Lüneburg!

Shortly before Christmas the classes 7 a-f went on a History school trip to the medieval town of Lüneburg.

During a guided tour and a scavenger hunt through the old centre and the old harbour they learned a lot about medieval town life and the importance of salt and trade for a member of the Hanseatic League such as Lüneburg.
They even had some spare time to explore the popular Christmas Market on the famous townhall square before returning to Hamburg via train in the afternoon.
