„Thugs“ and „Pandas“ – Live from Copenhagen

Hochrad Aktuell

After a delay of one hour in Hamburg and another delay because the Danish police searched our bus for drugs (somehow the police officer did not trust the bus driver’s assessment „it’s only students in here“, which may or may not be due to the designs and slogans chosen for the Profilpullis – „thug life on earth“ and a gun-wielding panda bear in front of a certain leaf) we finally reached Copenhagen around 3 pm. Since then, pupils have been going food shopping and making good use of the communal kitchen in our hostel. Everybody seems fairly happy so far, even though temperatures outside are hostile and it is supposed to rain tomorrow. Also, the fantastic bike lanes are rather confusing for tourists and cyclists won’t stop if you get in their way (unless they have no other choice).

Plan for tomorrow: Zoologisk Museet in the morning, then a walk across town to the National Art Gallery. We will take a harbour boat on the way back which is – just like in Hamburg – part of the public transport system.
